I Need A Diary

Well, in true style, I have contacted a few people to organise the moot, only to realise I am already working on the date I have chosen! Wally!
Anyway, all is not lost, I have re-contacted everyone and suggested we put it off until the following month. I will get this off the ground!!
Beltaine is nearly upon us and I have a weekend away with the Coven. Should be interesting, we have grown in numbers recently and we aren't able to get together as regularly as we would like. I has been suggested this affects our group mind, we're not as intune as we could be. This weekend will be the second time we will all be together at the same time. Personalities are definately clashing, like I said, it should be interesting!!!
It's nice to be sort of organised but other people do expect it of you. It gets harder and harder to say 'no', which is frustrating, especially in situations when you are being used as a gobetween and you know someone else is not doing their job. Bloody grown ups, you can't trust them, they never stick to the rules!
Work is fine but there I have to deal with a particular power-crazed egomaniac, who would crumble if anyone actually stood up to her but her two bosses seem to be scared of her. I would love to know what she has on them. She's one of these people who really deserves everything she gets but doesn't get her fair share!!

Here We Go Then

So, along with everything I've mentioned below, I'm also trying to organise a moot in my home town for Pagans in the area. Why? Well, I'm Wiccan for one thing & as the title of this blog suggests, I don't do more than I have to, probably not an inspiring thing to say but honest none the less!
I will let you know how the first one goes, which is taking place in a couple of weeks' time. I have a need to connect with my local Pagan community and the Coven I belong to is based in London, so I have to make my own entertainment up here in the sticks.
The Wiccan epiphany was a suprise, especially as it was my Catholic priest at the time who told me I wasn't Catholic! It also didn't help that I was 15 and thought he was condeming me to Hell. As you can tell, I got over that, rather convincingly.
I am actually finding this strangely theraputic, I hadn't intended continuing with this blog after my course finished but I had forgotten how much I enjoy keeping a diary!!

First Post

Well, I'm not sure how this has happened but I seem to have ended up a very busy mum of two. It's a good job I don't work full-time (well, let's be honest, 30 hours per week is as good as!) or I wouldn't have time to actually fit everything else in.

This is a new blog because I had to create because of an IT course I have recently taken and I think I may well keep it up.

So, about me. I'm 35 in July 2008, as I said, I have two children, they have the same dad although we never did the 'right' thing by getting married. The kids are 7, boy, he will be refered to as Goo (from Googly Bear in Monsters Inc) & 6, girl, she willl be refered to as Moo (from Schmoopsypoo, also from Monsters Inc), these have been their nicknames for years, wasn't I organised.

I've been with my partner for 13 years, God, I can't believe it!!! and we've had our ups and downs but we are fairly stable, or at least I am!

For fun I have joined my kid's school's parent/teacher association, I help a mate with a magazine he publishes (only a little though), I am completing BA in Early Years, the kids have after school stuff every week day, I keep the house clean, tidy & running smoothly and sometimes I get to sleep!!

I have no idea what I am going to do with the blog now I have started it but we shall see how it evolves.

Anyway, that's enough for now, off to put the kids to bed and chill for a bit!!
